Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 9:00am to 5.00pm 5 days over 7 on a rota basis

Salary: £21,000 per annum (circa £25,000 pa + after bonuses)

Areas: Stafford, ST16 3AD

What does our Retail Sales Adviser position entail?

We are a rapidly expanding business, with a large selection of quality mobility and homecare products at value-for-money prices and exceptional levels of service and aftercare. Our products range from walking sticks to hi-spec mobility powerchairs and back supports to Stairlifts, all designed to give our customers greater independence and an improved quality of life.

Due to our continued growth we are ow recruiting for an additional Retail Sales Adviser for our store in Reading.

We are the largest Mobility and Stairlift retailer in the UK with 39 stores nationwide and over 200+ employees. Our ethical values make us stand out from our competitors, as we genuinely care about our customers well-being.

 

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Working within a team in a very rewarding environment supporting the elderly and disabled.
  • Dedicated in providing all our customers with quality products and excellent customer experience.
  • An exceptional individual who provides advice and assistance to our customers.
  • Processing stock/deliveries received into the store therefore the ability to lift and handle stock/store fixtures is essential.
  • Play an important role on the sales floor supporting your team and Store Manager in helping and advising our customers.


What do we require from you?

  • Confidence to discuss products with customers over the phone and in person
  • A good understanding of IT to process transactions and respond to customer enquiries on our bespoke system
  • Flexibility to support the team and your store in peak trade periods.
  • Pride in store standards to maintain the retail shop floor and stockrooms to a high standard.
  • Ability to build rapport with our regular in store customers and local business customers.
  • Good organisational skills
  • A patient and caring nature
  • Professionalism and outgoing personality

     


A full driving licence is essential for this role.

A permanent position will be subject to a clear DBS check for which Ableworld will meet the cost and completion of a satisfactory probationary period.
