Simplyhealth announce further closures of it’s Care and Mobility Stores

This entry was posted in General November 30, 2017

We are very sad to hear that recently another local mobility store Care and Mobility in Wellington has closed its doors.

We would also like to reassure local Care and Mobility customers from Wellington or the surrounding areas of Telford, Cannock and Wolverhampton that Ableworld Newport is here and happy to help.

We appreciate that many customers shopping for mobility aids may be vulnerable or nervous about asking for advice but our friendly Newport team are all fully trained to offer free and personal service when it comes to shopping for mobility aids. We have a large showroom in Newport which has just undergone a refreshing facelift, ensuring we can offer the widest range of mobility aids to all of our customers.

Our Newport store, along with all Ableworld stores can offer free home demonstrations for mobility aids if you or a loved one struggle to out of your home. All of our staff members are fully DBS checked and provide identification for our customers peace of mind.

We cover a 30 mile radius of our stores or home demonstrations as well as Stairlift installations or mobility equipment servicing so we can cover all of the local towns and villages

We understand Care and Mobility has closed all of its outlets including Wellington, plus others within Birmingham, Cannock and the West Midlands. Parent Company simnplyhealth have announced the stores will be closed after a sale of this part of the business could not be agreed. This news is in addition the other 10 mobility store that Simplyhealth closed earlier this month including those trading as the Unlimited Company, Independent Living shops and Collins Care shops.

Please be reassured that Ableworld are committed in continuing to help as many customers as we can offering a wide range of Mobility aids at competitive prices, to the whole of the UK.
