Our Bournemouth and Christchurch stores can help!

This entry was posted in General December 20, 2019

We are sad to hear of the recent closure of 2 local mobility stores close to the Christchurch and Bournemouth Area. All Mobility on Wick Lane, and Lifestyle and Mobility (Wessex Mobility) in Boscombe have recently closed their doors to customers.

We appreciate that many customers shopping for mobility aids, particularly over the Christmas period may be worried about where to ask for mobility advice. We can reassure you that our friendly teams at our Ableworld Christchurch and Ableworld Bournemouth stores are all fully trained to offer free and personal advice when it comes to shopping for mobility aids, and would be more than happy to help out.

Our Bournemouth and Christchurch teams will be able to help you no matter what mobility aid is required. It could be you need a simple pill organiser for a loved one, or a stairlift to help you get up and down the stairs. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff will be ready to help you find items designed to make your life more comfortable whilst also keeping you independent.

Our Engineering team are also on hand to help with any repair or servicing work to mobility aids, such as on Mobility scooters, Wheelchairs and Powerchairs. Our engineers are fully trained and are Which? Trusted Trader endorsed for their work. We also have an extensive Stairlift department, where our engineers can install straight and curved stairlifts to many types of staircases. Our team can happily give you a free no obligation quotation!

In addition to visiting one of our 35 UK stores, you can also purchase a selection of our mobility items via our website:
