Elderly Shoe Box Appeal

Can you make a difference to someone this year with the gift of giving?

Many people experience Christmas alone and we want to try and help by collecting shoe boxes to show that someone cares. This year we are asking all colleagues, customers, friends, family and others if they will put a shoebox together full of presents that an elderly person would really love.

How can you help?

We are appealing for all our lovely customers to fill a shoe box with items that an elderly person would like to recieve. We would suggest items such as; puzzle books, hot chocolate, biscuits, warm socks, gloves, slippers, scarfs, hats, tins of soup, toiletries, confectionary, pens or handmade gifts -  the list is endless, but please no alcohol. 

If you would like to help please drop your shoebox off in your local Ableworld Store by Wednesday 18th December.

We will then arrange to distribute the shoeboxes to local worthy recipients before Christmas Day, to local care homes or hospitals.
