Placing an order on our website

Finding Products

We have tried to make products easy to find at Ableworld. We have split our product ranges into several different departments, all of which can be accessed from the dropdown "Shop by Department" list in the top blue navigation bar on the website.

To make your product selection as simple as possible, we have further split each department into categories, which can be accessed by clicking on the department.

You can also search for the product you want by using our Search Box at the top of the website and then pressing the yellow search icon.

How to register

Account registration is part of the ordering process. Once you have placed your first order with us you will then have your account details to login.

If you have previously registered you can login into your exisitng account by clicking 'Your Account' at the top right of your screen.  You will need your email address/username and password.

Using the Shopping Basket

Using the shopping cart is simple. To add a product to your basket, simply click on the 'Add to Basket' or 'Reserve to Buy In-Store' button next to the item you wish to purchase. Once the product is in your basket you can either continue shopping or go to the checkout.

If you have an item in your basket to purchase the website will assume you will only want to continue with items to purchase, and therefore you cannot reserve any items within the same transaction and vice versa. If you would like to place an order and also reserve an item this will need to be processed as 2 orders.

Payment Methods

You can pay for your goods online via our automated online payment service using a Paypal account, a Credit or Debit card. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Switch, Solo and Delta cards.

Customer Registration and VAT Exempt Products

Some of the products on sale in our store are VAT exempt, but only if the purchaser is suffering from one or more of the disabilities listed on the Customer Registration form.

The Vat Exemption Form will appear at the checkout on your first visit. Once you have completed a VAT declaration you will not be asked to complete it on each visit, your declaration will be saved on your account details.

In order for a customer to receive an item exempt of VAT both the product and the customer must be expemtible. Some of the products on our website are not exempt of VAT and therefore cannot be sold as such.
