Here at Ableworld Southampton our friendly team are well known in the local community for bringing mobility knowledge and support to the area. Our store owner, Jeff is extremely approachable and friendly, and along with the rest of the team are ready to help you with all of your mobility needs.
Our Southampton superstore is located on Portsmouth Road, opposite the bus station and close to Woolston Railway station. We have great customer parking at the rear of the store, and we are also located on several main bus routes, making it very easy to visit us in-store!
In our superstore, we stock a variety of mobility products, such as Boot scooters, Riser Recliner chairs and Eating and Drinking aids. Our superstore also features an extensive Stairlift demonstration area, as well as room to fully demonstrate all of our larger mobility products to our customers. We provide full demonstrations on the operation of scooters, rise/recliner chairs, wheelchairs, bath lifts, stairlifts and much more. We have almost every type of mobility product in-store, ensuring you will be getting the right product for your needs.

Friendly Helpful Staff
In our Southampton mobility store our team members are very welcoming, as we aim to offer you a relaxed and pleasurable shopping experience with absolutely no pressure selling or obligation to buy.
Our owner Jeff has lived in the local area for a long time and have significant experience behind them. Jeff has a clear view of mobility equipment after having daily contact with elderly and disabled customers in his previous occupation. Other team members have a vast experience in engineering so will be a fantastic choice for installing your stairlift or servicing any wheelchairs or mobility scooters.
Home Demonstrations
If you or a loved one will struggle to visit us in store, then please let us know and we can arrange for a home demonstration. Within a 30 mile radius of our store, we are happy to demonstrate our larger products, such as Riser recliner chairs, Wheelchairs and Mobility Scooters to customers in their homes. We will give you a demonstration and then leave you with a written quotation detailing everything that has been discussed together with a price, and leave you to consider the items. All our team members are DBS checked too for added peace of mind during home demonstrations.
In-House Engineering Team
Within our store we have an extremely dedicated Engineering team who can provide all forms of Stairlift services, such as installation, repair or servicing. We provide no pressure or obligation quotation, although if you then wish to continue with your stairlift it can often be fitted the next day. Existing stairlift servicing is also available at great rates. From our workshop facility, we can carry out affordable servicing and repairs for a wide range of mobility products, including wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
