Home Assessment and Demonstrations

Our free, no obligation demonstrations are designed with you in mind. Our friendly staff are trained to assess your needs and provide the correct products. We do not use 'hard sell' tactics.

We are happy to demonstrate out larger products to customers who are local to the stores. If you are not local then please contact our customer service department to see if we can find a suitable solution for your needs.

Servicing and Repair

We are very proud of our extensive, highly skilled Engineering Department. Without a doubt it is one of the best in the UK`s Mobility Industry.

Regular servicing of your equipment is essential to ensure prolonged life of your product. We can offer professional servicing for our customers.

We have a dedicated repair centre, which has the capabilities and facilities to service and repair a full range of Stairlifts, wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and many other products.

We can repair and service all types of mobility scooters, and we can also give advice on battery maintenance, which is a frequent issue with many scooters. Our trained engineers have the knowledge and experience, which allows them to offer you a value for money service to keep you mobile.

All of our work is guaranteed and is done in a timely and professional manner. We understand that the independence gained from mobility equipment is very important to our customers and that repairs need to be completed quickly, professionally and efficiently.

Stairlifts

Ableworld are very proud of our highly skilled stairlift division. Our 'in house' Stairlift Engineers provide a second to none service. We stock both new and reconditioned stair lifts.

We will first do a FREE survey and assess which is the best lift to suit your individual needs, and then quote you a price. You are under no pressure or obligation to buy.

If you decide to go ahead with the lift then our engineers will fit the lift at a convenient time and with little disturbance. Your lift will normally be fitted in less than half a day!

Stair lift Rentals

We have a wide range of Stairlifts that can be rented. This is ideal for customers who do not need the lift for a long period of time. To request more information click here.

Specialist Equipment

As well as a wide range of popular and standard mobility equipment at value for money prices. Ableworld also has a 'Specialist Division'. This is where clients require 'bespoke' or 'made to measure' mobility equipment, which requires a high level of technical knowledge and back up. Typical equipment in this area include:

Wheelchair hire

We also hire out wheelchairs. Subject to availability wheelchairs can be hired for any period of time and can be an ideal way to make a decision about a wheelchair before committing to a purchase. This is also the ideal solution when a wheelchair is only required short term such as after an operation.

To hire a wheelchair we require a £40 refundable deposit. The hire rates are as follows:
1 day hire = £5 (excluding VAT)
1 weekend hire = £7.50 (excluding VAT)
1 weeks hire = £15.00 (excluding VAT)

This can either be paid in the store or over the phone by Credit/Debit card.
